Any process of creating my jewelry pieces starts with inspiration, of course!

Inspiration that for me is a mix of emotions and feelings deeply involved in color, form, texture, style, materials, combinations and meaning.

Feelings translate the emotions we feel, so my jewelry pieces are created with the intention of representing this feeling, whether you are using them or to offer to someone special.

As such, in this creative process my thoughts are absorbed by this  inspiration, leaving no room for anything else – my artistic vein absorbs all my thoughts at that moment.

Therefore, I hope that using one of my jewelery creations can be for you as engaging and full of emotions and feelings as it is for me to create them. That you can feel, in some way, the affection and meaning that I place in each one of them.

The main purpose I have in mind is to create unique and exclusive jewelry pieces for women who appreciate and demand the best in handmade pieces, the exclusivity of the design and the availability of a personal craftsman.

Women who demand the best in handmade jewelry and who are not content with what is industrially produced massively.

I don’t follow specific rules or formulas to create my pieces;

The important thing is that I love to create, I love what I create and I commit my whole being, knowing and caring in this process.

I let my inspiration guide my choices about the pieces and materials so that beautiful pieces of handmade jewelry can emerge that will make you feel more beautiful and special using them.

Step 1

Choosing the base color:

First and foremost, based on inspiration, I choose the color or the combination of colors that I will use in the creation of the piece of jewelry.

Step 2

Choosing materials:

Decide which materials I will use in the new piece; Metals, woods, textiles, acrylics, resins, cords, spacers, fasteners, chains, shapes, textures and sizes.

Step 3

Choosing beads, stones or materials:

Decide which beads or stones I will use and their respective sizes, shapes and textures. Decide how to conjugate all the pieces so that they can mean the feelings that emerged from the inspiration for the creation of the new piece of jewelry.

Step 4

Beginning of the design composition:

Organize the distribution of the pieces that I selected for the new piece of jewelry. The moment I choose from several possible conjugations until I feel that “that” is the conjugation and design that best represents whatever inspiration that piece makes me feel.

Step 5

Developing the design:

Once the decision of the organization and conjugation of the several materials is made, I proceed to the development phase of the design. I work on it with all the care and affection, taking a lot of attention to details and finishings. Never forgetting my passion for the finished piece.

Step 6

Choosing the tools:

As soon as the design is ready to be linked, I choose the proper tools. There are many techniques I use to obtain in the end a piece of unique and exclusive jewelry.

Step 7

Finishing the connecting of the materials and preparing the piece of jewelry for the photographic session:

My journey through the creative process continues even after the jewelry is finished… Now it is time to present it!

Step 8

Preparing the photo area:

Taking several pictures of the same piece with the camera in order to select the one that best represents the beauty of the live and color piece is imperative.

Step 9

Decide which are the best photos to introduce to all JAFY’s marketing channels, on the internet and in the catalog:

The photos will reveal the brightness and beauty of the live and color. They are the key to an informed decision of any person who chooses to acquire it.

Step 10

Choosing the most appropriate packaging for the piece of jewelry I just created:

One of the final steps of the creative process is packaging. I choose the most appropriate packaging for that specific creation. I think about the size, color and safety of the piece of jewelry until it reaches its destination, you! Only this way you can receive your piece of jewelry in perfect condition!

I know that my clients love to get their pieces packed in a beautiful little box. It is part of the pleasure to receive…

Preparing and sending the order to a very special person: YOU!

The creative process only ends when you receive your piece of jewelry comfortably at home and use it with great pleasure and confidence. My creative process only ends with your smile of happiness!
